METHODOLOGY & LIMITATIONS
The headline is a manually curated YouGov job-approval poll of U.S. adult citizens. Historical points are RMG Research polls identified as registered voters by VoteHub’s rv category. Neither series is a national polling average. Favorability, economic approval and voting intention are excluded.
Registered voters (VoteHub category rv). Original registration and eligibility screening details are not supplied by this feed. VoteHub’s a code means “all voters” in its documentation; it is not assumed to mean adult citizens or all adults. Sample sizes belong to each poll, not the chart as a whole.
Points use actual fieldwork end dates on a time axis. No smoothing or interpolation fills historical gaps; lines stop when observations are more than 21 days apart. Only explicitly reported other/unknown answers are retained. Provider created_at dates are stored separately and are not treated as publication dates.
API/schema verification does not independently verify every original questionnaire. Original poll links are available in the table; some may require access through the publisher. History is labeled stale after 14 days without an observation. Fetching a snapshot does not make old polls current.
YouGov’s linked public-data terms include CC BY-NC 4.0 and restrictions on automated extraction. This feature uses a single curated reference and contains no YouGov scraper or tracker harvest. Commercial reuse is not presumed authorized. VoteHub’s documented CC BY 4.0 applies to the imported provider records; attribution and original source links are preserved.
